Go home with a broad smile ... make the family happy

I hired a plumber to help me restore an old farmhouse, and after he had just finished a rough first day on the job, a flat tyre made him lose an hour of work, his electric drill quit
and his ancient one-ton truck refused to start.

While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence.

On arriving he invited me in to meet his family. As we walked towards the front door, he paused briefly at a tree, touching
the tips of the tree. When opening the door he underwent an amazing transformation.

His tanned face was wreathed in smiles and he hugged his
two small children and gave his wife a kiss. Afterward he walked me to the car. We passed the tree and my curiosity
got the better of me. I asked him about what I had seen him do earlier.

Oh, that's my trouble tree," he replied. "I know I can't help
having troubles on the job, but one thing's for sure, those troubles don't belong in the house with my wife and the children.   So I just hang them up on the tree every night when I come home and ask God to take care of them. Then in the morning I pick them up again. "Funny thing is," he smiled, "when I come out in the morning to pick them up, there aren't nearly as many as I remember hanging up the night before."

Manage your thinking

No one in this world is 100% perfect.
Everyone is good and is equally bad.
Even good people has bad qualities and Bad people has good qualities.
If you look at brighter side you will feel everyone to be a good person and vise a verse.

People remain as they are but your thinking labels them good or bad.

Thinking changes the perspective, and the change in the perspective will term a rebellion a freedom fighter instead of a terrorist.
Change your thinking and the whole world changes for you. change the thinking so that the world will appear to you as the nice place to live. You wont get this life again... enjoy the life.

Effective Decision making process

Decision making during meetings.
Decision making in meetings is the democratic way of managing any organisation. During such meetings people come together to discuss about the merits and demerits of any decision and take appropriate decision after free and conducive discussion. Such discussions are meant for specific decision making and are result oriented.

Problem Solving
Define your problem. If the problem is of a wider nature try to break the process. Ask as many specific questions so that the whole components breaks down to its basic components. Try to look at the problem from all sides. When we try to solve any problem with a specific answer in out mind we limit the options. Keeps the means as open as possible.

Many a times identifying the real problem will solve the problem.
In a sky scrapper, when commuters complaint about the slow speed of the lift the Administration dept. started looking out for solutions to improve the speed of the lift. The solutions were not cost effective and lift users kept on complaining. The problem of the Admin Dept. was regular complaints from lift users and not the slow speed of the lift. When the real problem was identified the focus changed and managers started looking out for solutions to reduce the complaints rather than improving the speed of the lift. Admin dept. arranged for big mirrors near the lifts and people kept on looking in to the mirrors and the complaints reduced drastically.

Problem --> Solution
For every problem there is always a solution, provided you know exactly what is the problem and where to look for the solutions.

Positive Attitude

Attitude is what life is all about...

Soldier : Sir we are surrounded from all sides by enemies,
Major : Excellent! we can attack in any direction.

That's the spirit.

THE WORST IN LIFE IS "ATTACHMENT " ITS HURT WHEN YOU LOSE IT. THE BEST THING IN LIFE IS " LONELINESS " BECAUSE IT TEACHES YOU EVERYTHING AND WHEN YOU LOSE IT. YOU GET EVERYTHING.

May Be...

Maybe . . . the happiest of people
don't necessarily have the best of
everything; they just make the most of
everything that comes along their way.

Maybe. . we were supposed to meet the
wrong people before meeting the right
one so that, when we finally meet the
right person, we will know how to be
grateful for that gift.

Maybe . . . it is true that we don't
know what we have until we lose it,
but it is also true that we don't know
what we have been missing until it
arrives.

Maybe .. . . you should dream what you
want to dream; go where you want to
go, be what you want to be, because
you have only one life and one chance
to do all the things you dream of, and
want to do.

Why US is so nice with India

US is giving us more than expected support in fighting back the terror attack on Mumbai. Its surprising. US has never given such a support even after the parliament attack. WHY?

US wants to impress India. US has issued warnings to Pakistan on behalf of India. US has even given a 48 hour deadline to Pakistan and threaten Pakistan of war. US wants India to attack Pakistan. Bush is not in a position to start a war now. so he is inducing India to wage a war or at least create a tension on the borders so that he can pressurize Pakistan to purchase weapons and other aid and it will boot their economy.

Lets see what happens....India have to be cautious. by waging a war India can not wipe out terrorism.

Terror attack in Mumbai on 26th Nov 2008.

Security arrangements in Hotel Taj and Oberoi failed miserably during the terrorist strike on 26th Nov 2008. Actually speaking the hotels were not at all prepared to face a terrorist attack. there was no retaliation from any one because the hotels have not deployed any one for that purpose. The entire focus was on hospitality and security was not the priority.

Mumbai Police failed in dealing with terrorists. Mumbai police, no doubt, are good at investigations but poor in combat techniques. The terrorists were moving all over CST without any resistance. The lives of 3 Brains from Mumbai Police could be saved if the terrorists were prevented from moving out of CST. terrorists could freely come in and move out from CST. It was a major failure of police dept.

Even today there is a confusion about the number of terrorists involved in the incidence. 10 came in boat and few were already staying in Taj and Oberoi, then what was the exact number of terrorists? Police counted 10 and have declared 'All Clear' but that's not the truth there is a gross mistake in accepting that all terrorists have been killed.

To improve the combat skills of Mumbai Police it is necessary to train them on real battles in Kashmir and depute such trained commandos at important locations round the clock.

We must Salute the Mumbaikars

Mumbai local trains are the favourite targets of terrorists. A single Bomb explosion can make such a massive damage that the blast comes on the national radar and this is also a reason why Mumbai local Trains are the favourite target of terrorists.

Every Mumbaikar knows that when they are travelling by the Local train, they are taking the severe risk. Actually every day Mumbaikars are living on the edge of death.

A Mumbaikar can't leave without a Local Train. He travels daily through it and has to do it for his lively hood. They are aware about the risk in travelling by the Local Train but they continue travelling even during 'Red Alert' and 'High Tension' days.

We must salute their courage.

If someone is at the war front fighting against the enemy he is at emense risk but at least he knows and is certain about his enemy. But here in Mumbai you are at risk even without knowing who is the enemy and who can shoot at you. Any one can purposely forget a bag, a lunch box or a luggage and that can explode the next moment.

For few days after an incident every one is alert and keep watch on everyone with suspicion but the tempo subsides and we hear another incident...... but again the next day Mumbaikars will travel from the local trains with courage....

We must salute the Mumbaikars.
