Learn from Amitabh Bachan

HR Managers should understand the importance of Role Playing. He should know ‘because of what’ he is in the organization. He may be in the organization because of the employer, but he is in the organization for the employees.

There is lot to learn from the role Mr. Amitabh Bachan played in ‘Kaun Banega Corepati’. He was the anchor of the show because of the producer and the sponsorers of the show but he was in the show for the participants. He has understood this very well and hence he has always played the role to support the participant. He has always helped the participant rather taking the side of the producer / sponsorers. As Amitabh was aware about the right answers of the questions, he used to repeatedly ask confirmation of the participant when the participant gives a wrong answer. Further more he has never tried to play any trick or never tried to confuse the participant when he was giving the right answer. By doing this Amitabh has always helped the participant to get the amount of reward. He has not tried to save the prize money of the sponsorer. Because of this Amitabh won the confidence of the viewers and participants and the show was a super hit.

If he had not taken the side of the participants he might have saved the prize money of the sponsorers but would not become the mentor and a guide for the participants and the show might not be so successful.

HR managers should adapt this strategy. HR managers should consider themselves luck as they are at a position by which they can make people happy. He should work towards bringing equilibrium between unjust enrichment and exploitation. A successful HR manager should not only be liked by the employer but be popular amongst the employees too.

Misunderstanding

My humbleness, politeness should not be construed as I am weak. I may be mild but I am firm. I will not hurt anyone but I will not give up.

Sure Success by Involvement & Devotion.

What happens if a driver drives without putting his heart and soul in his job? The same happens with every job if it lacks devotion – Disaster.

You may like or dislike a job, it may be some one else’s agenda but when you are doing it, you are responsible for the success or failure of it. Hence every job even if forced on you, must be accomplished with devotion and putting in the Heart and soul. This will assure the successful completion of the job and this will be counted as your success.
