Why US is so nice with India

US is giving us more than expected support in fighting back the terror attack on Mumbai. Its surprising. US has never given such a support even after the parliament attack. WHY?

US wants to impress India. US has issued warnings to Pakistan on behalf of India. US has even given a 48 hour deadline to Pakistan and threaten Pakistan of war. US wants India to attack Pakistan. Bush is not in a position to start a war now. so he is inducing India to wage a war or at least create a tension on the borders so that he can pressurize Pakistan to purchase weapons and other aid and it will boot their economy.

Lets see what happens....India have to be cautious. by waging a war India can not wipe out terrorism.

Terror attack in Mumbai on 26th Nov 2008.

Security arrangements in Hotel Taj and Oberoi failed miserably during the terrorist strike on 26th Nov 2008. Actually speaking the hotels were not at all prepared to face a terrorist attack. there was no retaliation from any one because the hotels have not deployed any one for that purpose. The entire focus was on hospitality and security was not the priority.

Mumbai Police failed in dealing with terrorists. Mumbai police, no doubt, are good at investigations but poor in combat techniques. The terrorists were moving all over CST without any resistance. The lives of 3 Brains from Mumbai Police could be saved if the terrorists were prevented from moving out of CST. terrorists could freely come in and move out from CST. It was a major failure of police dept.

Even today there is a confusion about the number of terrorists involved in the incidence. 10 came in boat and few were already staying in Taj and Oberoi, then what was the exact number of terrorists? Police counted 10 and have declared 'All Clear' but that's not the truth there is a gross mistake in accepting that all terrorists have been killed.

To improve the combat skills of Mumbai Police it is necessary to train them on real battles in Kashmir and depute such trained commandos at important locations round the clock.

We must Salute the Mumbaikars

Mumbai local trains are the favourite targets of terrorists. A single Bomb explosion can make such a massive damage that the blast comes on the national radar and this is also a reason why Mumbai local Trains are the favourite target of terrorists.

Every Mumbaikar knows that when they are travelling by the Local train, they are taking the severe risk. Actually every day Mumbaikars are living on the edge of death.

A Mumbaikar can't leave without a Local Train. He travels daily through it and has to do it for his lively hood. They are aware about the risk in travelling by the Local Train but they continue travelling even during 'Red Alert' and 'High Tension' days.

We must salute their courage.

If someone is at the war front fighting against the enemy he is at emense risk but at least he knows and is certain about his enemy. But here in Mumbai you are at risk even without knowing who is the enemy and who can shoot at you. Any one can purposely forget a bag, a lunch box or a luggage and that can explode the next moment.

For few days after an incident every one is alert and keep watch on everyone with suspicion but the tempo subsides and we hear another incident...... but again the next day Mumbaikars will travel from the local trains with courage....

We must salute the Mumbaikars.

Positive Thinking

Positive thinking is Constructive thinking, thinking with proactive thoughts. Negative thinking is destructive thinking.for positive thinking you must believe in yourself.
Instead of feeling sorry for yourself you should work on solutions and move forward.
Positive people emit positive vibrations that makes people bond. every one wants to work with them, associate with them. We can send the +ve vibrations. we call them charismatic, magnetic, hypnotic etc.
+ve thinking is basically proactive thinking and the benefits include:
  • increased immunity,
  • a radiant glow on the face,
  • a feeling that every day is worthwhile,
  • better interpersonal relationships and
  • SUCCESS
Grudges are the root cause of Negative thinking. They eat energy out of your life.
If someone hurts you, approach the person who has hurt you. Instead of letting a grudge linger, its important to jump the high hurdle and approach the person who has hurt you. expressing your feelings about the issue with them may be difficult to do, but it will leave you satisfied that you took the situation into your own hands. when voicing your feelings use "I feel" and not "You make me feel" statements, as this sets up defensiveness in others. Take responsibility for you own feelings. if someone has done something that has hurt you, address the behavior and not the person. focus on the person's behavior don't attack his or her character. During the conversion he may highlight your misbehavior. don't hesitate to apologise feel sorry for your mistakes from your heart. Watch the change that had taken place in the other person. he has become your fan. This is +ve behavior.

Fort Raigad

About 1 Km. before the Mahad Bus Stand yu need to take a left turn to reach Raigad Rope Way. Its 24 Km from Mahad and around 190 Km from Mumbai.
The Rope way is managed and operated by a private player. Near the Ticket window a big map of Raigad fort is displayed in Marathi with minute details. The Rope way is very steep and takes only 5 minutes to reach the destination. Its actually a one sided rope way. The Coaches travel to and fro and not in rotations. Two way ticket is Rs. 150/-. The cost of ticket also includes the cost towards a guided tour of Raigad. The Guides are properly trained and explains the basic information in a nice way.
Only the temple of 'Shiva' is in a better condition. The remains of the buildings does not give idea about the buildings constructed on the plinth. Mostly the buildings were constructed with the help of wooden pillars with a slanting roof. The temple is called ' Jagadishwar'. All other buildings are demolished by Muslim invaders. Even invaders have destroyed the sculptures on 'Nandi' in front of the temple and the entrance of main building. In ancient times the the entire hill top must be covered with Buildings. We could find few mounts at various corners of the hill top whihc are actually building structures covered with soil. There is lot to do for the Archiological Survey of India[ASI]. They charge Rs.5/- per person visiting the Fort. ASI seems to be inactive.
